Class Description:

A 2-day oil/acrylic painting workshop focused on capturing water, light, and movement. Using examples such as dynamic animal compositions (e.g., horse studies) and coastal or figurative imagery (including mermaid-inspired subjects), students will explore how light interacts with form and environment.

Students will learn how to:
- create depth and movement in water
- paint light rays and reflections
- layer oils to build atmosphere and cohesion
- balance realism with expressive interpretation

This workshop aligns well with coastal themes while offering a more elevated and dynamic approach.

About the Instructor:

Adriana’s painting practice integrates atmospheric light, movement, and symbolic elements, blending observational technique with intuitive and expressive approaches developed through her professional studio work.
