About the Instructor:
Connor Bollom
Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Inspired by my grandfather, a local artist and owner of POPO’s art and frame shop. I developed a passion for drawing at an early age. Growing up outside of Houston, I studied college-level art while in high school and received recognition through Rodeo Art, the Scholastic Art Awards, and the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), where my charcoal portrait advanced to the state competition.
Today, I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). I teach the visual, perceptual, and motor skills that are also the foundation of drawing. By combining my backgrounds in art and occupational therapy, I help students learn to truly see light, form, and proportion, making realistic drawing an approachable and rewarding skill for artists of all experience levels.
