Realistic Drawing from Photographs :: Fernando Andrade
October 29-30 Friday: Noon-5pm Saturday 10am-3pm

In this course, the students will begin by focusing on Water Soluble Graphite. Fernando will take you step by step to achieving tones to create an expressive tonal drawing from a reference photo.
Super Hard Edge Painting :: Jorge Puron
September 1 & 2
Wednesday: 9:30 am-4pm (with an hour break for lunch)
Thursday: 9:30 am-4 pm (with break included)
Join international artist Jorge Puron as he teaches you the techniques and how to use tools necessary to achieve the “super hard edge” look with acrylic paint. The hard edge technique creates surface tension in a painting via positive and negative space.

Pet Portrait in Acrylic Gouache Workshop :: Emmet Duggan

Settle in for a spell and create a vessel for your home. We will touch on the basics of using natural dyeing and will use pre-dyed cotton fabric to coil a two- toned, medium-sized bowl. No experience is necessary, and all materials are included in registration.
