Workshop Description:

Celebrate the Hummerbird Festival with RCA and create a Hummerbird Mosaic with Janet Dineen! Janet has been creating mosaic art since the early 90’s. She has recently discovered these small tiles and has been having so much fun with them. She thought she should share in the joy of mosaic making. These little guys are no stress, just a little mess. You will learn to create a design, use tile cutting hand tools and mix and apply grout. All tools and materials will be provided. The small tiles that you will be using are perfect for beginners and good fun for experienced mosaic makers as well. After grouting, participants will attach a hanger to the back so it will be ready for display. Plan on getting messy, especially during the grouting process. The humming bird measures 18” tall x 12” wide! It is going to be fun!
