About The instructor
Vivian Rood has been playing in mud for years. She makes small batch, one-of-a-kind pottery in her garage studio in Rockport. Her preferred method is an alternative firing technique known as Western Raku. She enjoys the creative experimentation of the raku reduction processes: basic, saggar, horsehair and feather or ferrich chloride fumed. Vivian is excited to share her passion for this creative adventure that she continues to explore.
