SATURDAY 2PM documentary feature
the song of trees
Dressed in white, an 88-year-old woman who refuses to reveal her identity rides into a jungle she purchased in Nicaragua, the size of Manhattan, where she plants one million trees. She plants not for ownership but for breath—returning oxygen to the Earth and hope for a future beyond herself. Listening to the voices of trees, she lives by the time of trees. Once a princess of a fallen dynasty, a scientist, and an artist, she now moves within the slow rhythm of the forest.
