The International Plein Air Painters celebrated their 10 anniversary by encouraging local plein air groups to participate.

TOWN Rockport is coordinating a donation effort for parts of the state ravaged by fire. We will be collecting monetary donations and supplies and will make weekly trips to assist as long as necessary.

Set for November 12, this brand new festival is calling for artists with a deadline of October 1.

The Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) has announced the Texas State Legislature's 2011 and 2012 appointments to the positions of state poet laureate, state musician, state two-dimensional artist and state three-dimensional artist.
