About the Chef:
Earning a Bachelors of Culinary Arts and Management at the Art Institute of California- San Diego, Chef Marjorie began her career as an exhibition seafood chef in 2004. Moving back to Texas in 2010, she worked for the illustrious Driskill Hotel in Austin. Quickly making her way up the ranks to Events Chef, she over saw the success of hundreds of weddings, corporate events and meetings. In 2018, Chef Marjorie returned to restaurant life, but missed being a part of memorable events. She also found she enjoys working with people to create new menus, develop recipes and meet their culinary goals. This is the motivation behind Peppergrass Kitchen. Chef Marjorie Pettigrove is a Corpus Christi native and recently returned to the Coastal Bend to be closer to her family. She brings her amazing husband, Adam, wild child, John Hayden, and furry friend, Waffles, with her. When she is not busy cooking or creating, Chef Marjorie enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, gardening, and pretty much anything to do outside.
