Paper and Fabric Greeting Cards

Workshop Description:
In this class you will make note cards and greeting cards mixing fabric and paper. Some will have sentiments and others will be blank note cards. There is some machine stitching involved. If you want to bring your own machine, bring decorative thread, preferably variegated.
Supply Information:
Since this is a small class two sewing machines will be provided that can be shared. Other materials will be provided.
You may want to bring very small fabric scraps, lace, and trims to include in your designs.
You will need a cutting mat, rotary cutter with a pinking blade or pinking shears.
Don’t buy anything until you try this technique. This is a small class and we can share and many items will be provided.
Just bring your lunch and a happy attitude and we will have a great class!
About the Instructor:
After leaving the business world behind in IN 2006, I was able to pursue my lifelong passion of working with fabric. I have a special affinity for incorporating old linens and repurposed items into my work. Somewhere along the way I discovered combining paint, dye and paper with fabric. The possibilities are limited only by ones imagination. It gives me great joy to share my enthusiasm and skills of sewing, quilting, card making, ice dyeing, bag making, and gelli printing. Named 2025 Rockport Art Festival Master Artist with textiles.
