Course Description
Make your collage endure the test of time. In this workshop, Bonnie will share techniques for creating archival quality collage papers and how to use them in your artwork. Designs will incorporate painting and collage techniques on canvas.
Supply List:
Old Paintbrushes, at least one 2" or larger
Painting smock or apron
ALL OTHER SUPPLIES PROVIDED
About the Instructor
Beginning to draw and paint at an early age, and having her first painting exhibition at age sixteen, Bonnie has spent a lifetime teaching, creating, and exhibiting her work. Educated in Michigan, she taught in public schools. She moved to Texas in 1979 and began a career in graphic design. She created a company; P.S. I Love You!, Inc, which produced cards and stationery which were sold nationally in stores. Selling the company in 1986, she returned to teaching and painting.
Bonnie has been represented by galleries in Michigan, New Mexico, and Texas and has won many prizes, and had many one-person exhibitions. She was the Art Director of the Rockport Center for the Arts in 1992. She was the Poster Artist in 2013 for the Rockport Center for the Arts and on their Studio Tour in 2018 and 2020.
