Meet Carrie Salemme,

Carrie is one of our Docents (a docent is volunteer guide who works at a museum) here at Rockport Center for the Arts.

When Carrie was asked why she liked volunteering, she said she has 4 reasons:

1. The Artists - "I love meeting the artists and talking to them about all the different art they make in all different mediums."

2. The People - "People visit the Art Center from all over the world. It's so fun to be able to share with them all we have to offer."

3. The Kids - "The kids come for tours and classes on Saturday mornings. I love to be able to open their eyes to the world of art."

4. The Staff - "I love everyone here! The staff is so passionate about the Art Center and what their part is within it."
