Join us for a curated art excursion beginning at 9:00 AM from the Rockport Center for the Arts. Guests will travel by shuttle to Cuero for a special visit to the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum, featuring the exhibition “Life on the Fence”—a stunning presentation of fine art photography by Frank Klein paired with bronze sculptures by renowned artist Kent Ullberg.

Enjoy an exclusive guided tour led by photographer Frank Klein, offering personal insights into the stories and artistry behind the works. Together, Klein and Ullberg explore the natural world—through the lens and the sculptor’s hand—highlighting the intricate connections between humans, animals, and landscapes. Their work encourages reflection on our relationship with the environment and the living creatures that inhabit it.

Following the museum experience, the group will continue to Victoria for a delightful prix fixe lunch at The Pumphouse Restaurant, known for its historic ambiance and riverside charm.

After lunch, we will visit the Nave Museum to explore an exhibition by multidisciplinary Texas artist Tara Conley. Known for her innovative use of materials and her ability to transform familiar objects into symbolic, thought-provoking works, Conley’s exhibition invites viewers to consider identity, memory, and resilience through sculptural installations and mixed-media pieces. Her work often bridges the industrial and the intimate, creating immersive environments that encourage reflection and connection.
