We have positions for everyone!
VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN - Help other volunteers find their place! Arrive before everyone else and direct volunteers to their positions.
GATES - Be the friendly face that greets our patrons! North & South Gate positions are fully seated positions and involve collecting entry fees and zip code data. VIP sales positions are for the most charismatic! Walking up and down the entry line, the VIP sellers encourage patrons to upgrade to a 2-day pass and skip the long line.
FESTIVAL STORE - Sell the Art Festival t-shirts and posters! This is a fun, fully air-conditioned, half-seated, half-standing position. The morning Saturday shifts are the most lively.
WATER CARTS - Work in teams of two to keep the artists hydrated! This mostly walking/some driving position involves taking a golf cart and water pitcher to fill up the artists' water bottles. It's a great way to get your daily steps in!
KIDS TENT - Encourage our future artists! Kids Tent volunteers get to be creative.
BEER SALES - Fully air-conditioned positions! Beat the heat in a tent with the band and food vendors. Some positions require standing, some sitting.
FLOATER - Want to help but don't know where? Just tell us what time you are coming, and we'll find a space.

NEW THIS YEAR, join us for a volunteer training, Thursday, July 2nd from 4-5PM!
You can pick-up your new T-shirt at this time!
NEW THIS YEAR, park at the Art Center and take the air-conditioned shuttle to the Volunteer Check-In
Park in the front or back of the Art Center
Get your T-shirt (if you did not get it at the volunteer training)
Change into your shirt in the air-conditioning at the Art Center
Hop on the air-conditioned shuttle to the South Gate to Volunteer Check-In!
Arrive at the South Gate at the Festival Grounds 30 Minutes Before Your Shift Time.

Collect you Volunteer Badge (Must be worn at all times on the fairgrounds)

Learn your position
If you are the first shift of the day the chairman for your area will be there to give you directions.
If you are the second or third shift you will likely get your instructions from volunteers who you are replacing at the shift change time.
We will have Hospitality Cart volunteers making rounds on the golf carts with cups and ice-cold water to keep all volunteers hydrated throughout their shifts.

Where do I park?
New this year, park at the Art Center (front or back), get your t-shirt and change into it in the air-conditioning, and take the air-conditioned shuttle to the South Gate to Volunteer Check-In!
Can I get in before my shift to see the festival?
Yes, come check in at Volunteer Check-In at the South Gate to collect your badge, then you will be able to enter the festival. Please note, the entrance gate volunteers will only let you in if you have your volunteer badge.
