Each year the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center holds a competition for the Wildflower Days Poster Artist. Mary Catherine Gardner's painting of a winecup wildflower will be unveiled in November. Congratulations Mary Catherine! See the winning art for Wildflower Days 2009 on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is located at 4801 La Crosse Ave. in Austin, Texas. The Center is open on Saturday's from 9 am to 5:30 pm and on Sundays from noon to 5:30 pm.
