Join Susan to make a stained glass memory or jewelry box. Students will make one complete 4” or 6” box (student’s choice) in the three-hour workshop time. These boxes make a perfect gift.

We will set up little still life arrangements of candy- jelly beans, chocolates, conversation hearts, etc or coastal theme objects- bobbers, lures, shells, bits of driftwood,...

We’ll be working on small canvases (up to 8 x 10) with a limited palette of 4 colors and 3 brushes.

Collage is a technique of art creation resulting from an assemblage of parts, creating a new whole. This class is a collage of learning! Each session will be instructed by a different artist thereby giving the student a broad range of technical knowledge.

In this course you will learn to mix all your colors, grays, and values. We will spend a few days just mixing and matching colors and then will use them painting still lifes. This is “indoor plein air”!
