Application Process

  1. Apply for a booth by filling out the online application or downloading an application and e-mailing the complete document to teresa@rockportartcenter.com

  • Ongoing price for a 10’x10’ booth space is $20 for members of Rockport Center for the Arts and $40 for nonmembers.

  • Booths can be shared, but there is a limit of 2 artists max per booth.

  • Each artist must apply separately.

  • All works for sale must be your own creations.

  • No food items allowed for sale at booths.

Art Center Market Booth Policies

The Art Center Market will be an extension of the Rockport Center for the Arts. The items you will display/sale must be your own creations, and of high quality. Please note that food items are not acceptable. Your inventory may be reviewed, and subject to approval. Artists are responsible for all display equipment, set up and tear down. Parking or driving on grassy area will not be allowed at any time. No exceptions. There will be no parking allowed at the art center parking lot, that space is reserved for the art center visitors only. Market vendors and/or customers must park on Austin St. or elsewhere. Since the market area will not be secured overnight; “set up” time must occur prior to market opening, no earlier than 8:00am. “Tear down” will be after closing, no later than 6:00pm. Your booth area must be left clean/clear when leaving the premises.

You must pay for your booth not later than a business week prior to “market day”. You can pay in person at the art center or pay by phone at 361-729-5519. No refunds without one-week notice. No exceptions.

The Rockport Center for the Arts has the right to refuse vendors/items. Additionally, the Rockport Center for the Arts is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items for display/sale at the Art Center Market.

Priority will be given to RCA member artists in the Art Center Market. Non-members that wish to participate in this event are welcome with a paid RCA membership a week prior to market day starting.
